Shift Theatre company is proud to present ‘Doubt, a Parable’ by John Patrick Shanley in support of One in Four.
This Tony award winning play is set in a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, where the strong minded principal Sr. Aloysius develops concerns about a popular priest in the parish. Written in 2004 by the Academy award winning JP Shanley, Doubt acutely dramatises issues so acutely relevant to Ireland past and present. This powerful play is crafted with precision and insight, and leaves audiences debating their own doubts long after the play ends.
