Group Psychotherapy

We run a variety of groups at One in Four. These include:

  1. Introductory groups: list for psychotherapy.
  2. Psychotherapy groups: these groups are available to people who have completed individual therapy, clients who have worked with individual therapists outside One in Four are welcome to contact us.
  3. Specialist groups: from time to time we run groups for people with a particular difficulty that has arisen from the experience of sexual violence. These include addiction, eating disorders etc Please contact us for more details.

How much does group therapy cost?

We understand that sometimes the impact of sexual abuse manifests itself in difficult career or financial status. Our aim is to make our services available to everyone no matter what their financial circumstances. Group therapy costs €35 per session. If you cannot afford this, please discuss with your therapist at your first meeting.

What guides our work?

Child protection is at the heart of what we do. While our services are confidential, if you give us information that children may be at risk, it is our policy to pass that information to the HSE child protection services. Our work respects the principles of the Children’s First Guidelines.
