For me, One in Four has achieved miracles. I began my journey as a Johnny forty coats character, fearful of anyone being able to recognize me as female, even me I couldn’t cope with it. I had no sense of being real, I (felt) no good, worthless and even a burden to society. I am learning that although my fears are very real, they are the trauma of past events not present situations. Thanks to One in Four, I’m more confident, I’ve grown my hair, I can even carry a handbag now! I can now take risks and face challenges which were previously unthinkable. I am moving towards having a life worth living. One in Four, all encompassed, they give life.
