Brian signed up to give a monthly gift on our website last month. We got chatting to him and asked if he would write something for our newsletter.

“I had signed up to The One in Four newsletter. I was really enjoying reading the blogs they were sending me. I am not a survivor myself but I have a good friend who has been affected by sexual abuse. Its been tough for him, and I could relate to a lot of what the blogs were saying.

I am not much a of a runner, not as active as I should be, so the virtual fundraising challenges weren’t for me so I decided to start a regular monthly gift. It was easy enough to set up on the One in Four website. The next while will be tough for charities like One in Four, I suppose if they know my €25 euros is coming in each month it’s a start and if there was plenty of other people giving it would soon add up.”

We don’t get them everyday but when we get regular Monthly gifts like Brian’s its so encouraging. Regular giving means we can plan our work ahead knowing we have a certain amount we can rely on to plan our work and think about new projects that help more survivors. Our regular givers are the back bone of our work, you keep us strong, you are there for us so we can be there for those that need us. For that we are truly grateful.

If you are in a position to set up a regular gift and help us end the trauma of childhood sexual abuse, you can do so here.
