We would like to thank everyone who has generously supported our crisis appeal so far.
Your support has meant we have been able to provide vital support to Survivors.

Many people who have been sexually abused as a child struggle all their lives with depression, anxiety, shame and loneliness. The self- isolation we are all experiencing during the coronavirus pandemic can heighten many of these feelings. As a result of Covid-19 there has been an increased demand for our services.

June 2020 was set to be one of our best months yet, packed solid with exciting, fun fundraising events that we had put a lot of effort into preparing for. Unfortunately The Women’s Mini Marathon, the Camino de Santiago, and The Kiss Concert in The National Concert Hall have all been cancelled. The cancellation of our June events is a loss of over €40,000.

We desperately need to try and make up this loss to ensure we can deliver services.

Here are three ways you can help a Survivor today

1. Make a one-off donation

Give an immediate gift to help us today. Your gift is more important now than ever. It will ensure we can continue to reach, and provide support to, the survivors that need us most.

2. Set up a regular donation

Knowing we have regular support each month means we can plan our work ahead. It creates stability that means our work can grow and reach more people deal with the trauma of sexual abuse.

3. Start a Virtual Fundraiser

  • Choose a Challenge: Walk or Run 100k In June, or have a Virtual Happy hour with friends on Zoom, we have lots of fundraising ideas.
  • Set up a fundraising page, either on our Website or on Facebook. and set your own goal!
  • Share your fundraising page with friends and family. Let everyone know what you’re doing at home during this time and to support One in Four.
